Awesome Alpharetta, as its slogan goes, is one of the northern suburbs of Atlanta. It is a city that is moving forward as the home of many technology firms and a city that clings to its heritage with antique shops and a quaint downtown.
With its peaceful suburban atmosphere, Alpharetta is a sought-after location for families and others looking to escape city-life. With many businesses moving into the Alpharetta area, many residents only drive into Atlanta for sporting events or the airport. The city of Alpharetta is quickly becoming a perfect work-live-play environment. Alpharetta boasts many highly rated restaurants like Rainwater and Vinny's. It is the home to a major area mall - North Point Mall. In addition, you'll find a plethora of boutique shopping including a local favorite - antiques. With a family friendly atmosphere, Alpharetta attracts many young couples and families. Alpharetta is large and has several distinct districts.
